The "Chochin Lamp 02 (Tawara)" is a lamp that reinterprets the traditional Gifu lantern with a modern sensibility.

Crafted by Asano Shoten using the finest Mino Washi paper, this lamp features a sleek and refined frame complemented by a versatile shade that blends seamlessly with various interiors. Measuring 19.5 inches in height and 11 inches in width, it emits a gentle, warm glow that brings a serene and calming atmosphere to living rooms and bedrooms. Handmade in the Gifu prefecture of Japan for 90 years, this collection of rice paper table lights speaks softly with their halcyon shape and warm diffusion. The simplicity of their structure is characterized by a wire armature that dilates a continuous spiral of bamboo filament and rice paper.
