AJ Eklipta Outdoor
The AJ Eklipta wall lamp from Louis Poulsen was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1956 for Rødovre Town Hall. Two sizes of the opal glass wall sconce were produced for this project: 13.7" and 17.7". They were used indoors on stairs and as outdoor wall lamps. An 8.7" version was later designed for St. Catherine's College in England. Arne Jacobsen preferred the largest model when specifying his own projects. Today, AJ Eklipta is used worldwide and in a variety of architectural contexts.
