The wooden shelves from String Furniture are designed for the modular String System, offering flexible storage that adapts to your needs. Available in two widths and two depths, these shelves fit seamlessly into String System wire and plex panels when the shelf and panel share the same depth.

Lightweight and easy to reposition, the shelves allow you to reconfigure your shelving as your space evolves. Create a clean, monochrome look or mix different colors and wood finishes to design a personalized shelving system.

Each package includes three wooden shelves and mounting brackets.

Materials:

  • Black Stained Ash, Oak, Ash, and Walnut: Made using veneered particleboard. The surface is treated with a clear lacquer with gloss 5.
  • White, Beige, and Grey: Made using lacquered MDF with gloss 35.

Dimensions: 

  • 22 inch: 0.75 H x 22.83 W x 7.87 or 11.81 D inches
  • 30 inch: 0.75 H x 30.71 W x 7.87 or 11.81 D inches
  • Max Weight: 55 lbs evenly spread across the shelf.

Care and Maintenance:

  • Please note that wood is a living material and can therefore naturally change its appearance over time, especially when the surface is exposed to direct sunlight.
  • In general:
    • Always wipe the surface with a clean cloth.
    • Use an underlay for hot items and items that risk leaking through moisture. 
    • Check occasionally that the mounting bracket and screws are tightened.
