Veng Armchair

By Eikund

The Veng armchair has a strong personality and is one of the most expressive chairs Torbjørn Bekken designed. Bekken graduated from the National Academy of Craft and Art Industry in 1946. He designed the chair while working for the innovative interior design company, Rastad & Relling Tegnekontor. With its stunning sculptural and chief-looking appearance, the forgotten Norwegian icon is finally coming back to life. Designed in 1960.
